Thank you Record Searchlight for saving lives!

The Y receives $5,000 grant to support the First Grade Learn to Swim program.

The Record Searchlight / Scripps Howard Foundation has given the Shasta Family YMCA $5,000 for the “First Grade Learn to Swim ” program. This donation pays for swim lessons for 115 students, including instructors, pool usage, and program materials. The Redding School District will cover the transportation costs.

The generous support from the Record Searchlight means there will continue to be no cost to parents.

Outdoor Pool: Open Swim

Jump in and cool off in our designated open swim area where you’ll enjoy quality time with family and friends, bringing you closer together. There is enjoyable outdoor space for sunbathing, having a picnic or just hanging out. Enjoy the Y’s pool area: we bring families together.
