Why I Donate: Kids are our future

Strong kids, happy kids, healthy kids, successful kids. We all want them. They make us proud. They make us smile. They are our future. In a time when we want to make the best possible investment with the best return, I'm putting my money on kids and families. It takes a village and we have incredible resources right here in “river city”; Folks like our Shasta Family YMCA.
The Y's annual Strong Kid campaign is an investment I have made for several years. I like knowing that I'm helping the YMCA help families less fortunate including scholarships to youngsters in our community for Y Camp. Building Strong Kids builds strong families and that builds a community we all want to live in.
We have the good fortune to live in one of the most beautiful spots on the planet, in a community filled with generous folks who care. That's why we are here and that's why it is important we step up each year to help our YMCA continue to build "Strong Kids".
