RSA Students Ride RABA to the Y!

The Shasta Family YMCA in partnership with Redding Area Bus Authority is now offering busing for students at Redding School of the Arts (RSA) and Mountain View Middle School for students wanting to participate in the Y Club, a free program for teen’s grades 6 – 12.

Y Club is a fun, youth driven after school club. Youth can participate in structured programs or just hang out in a safe place. The program offers skills building, leadership development, college information and support through College Options, volunteer opportunities, Y facility access, computers, homework support, tutoring, creative activities and positive social interaction.

A bus punch card is $10 per month. Y Club is free with a YMCA membership and is open to any student grades 6 – 12 in all school districts and home schools. All youth are welcome and nobody will be turned away due to an inability to pay thanks to the many donors who support Y Club including United Way, Shasta Regional Medical Center, SINTF and US Bank.

For more information on Y Club contact the YMCA at 246-YMCA (9622).
