Have You Filled A Bucket?

That was the theme of this year’s Celebration of Assets. The Assets in Action Partnership of Shasta County recognized Asset Champions at their award ceremony on May 4. The Partnership honored individuals who contribute to the development of the children and youth of Shasta County, with the emphasis on Shasta County Priority Assets.

Our very own Linda Delles, Director of Family and Youth Development is always filling a bucket. She was presented with the “High Expectations” award for 2012.

Birthday Parties

Birthday Parties are More Fun at the Shasta Family YMCA

Register today for one of our amazing birthday parties.
Fun for the kids, easy for you!

There are a variety of themes to choose from:

Culinary Cooks Party: Ages 6 - 15

This party is designed to give your guests a fun cooking experience. Your birthday child will decide which appetizer and main course to make with his/herfriends. Each party guest will receive an apron and paper chef hat. Your birthday child will be able to choose an apron in one of 6 colors and receive a YMCA birthday party shirt. You will have use of our game room to open gifts and have cake.

Swim & Gym Party: Ages 5 -15

This party combines swimming and gym play. Your child can choose between the indoor or outdoor swimming pools with lifeguards on duty at all times. Our gym games include fun prizes and exciting challenges combined with active play. The party will conclude in our game room or on our playground to open gifts and have cake (if your party package includes cake). Your birthday child will also receive a YMCA birthday shirt.

Ball Bonanza Party: Ages 3 – 7

This bouncing party includes fun active ball games: parachute activities with soft balls, basketball, soccer, ball relays and more. Great idea for active youngsters. Your party will also get use of the game room to open gifts and have cake.

Teddy Bear Picnic: Ages 3 - 7

Each child will get their very own tiny teddy bear to bring with them on a YMCA picnic. Your birthday child will be able to choose from a list of light refreshments to have on their picnic. We will play simple field games and follow up with some time in our game room to open gifts and have cake. Your little one will also receive his/her very own YMCA birthday shirt.

Weekend party times available:

Saturday between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

2 Hour Party

You provide: food, beverage, decorations, paper products, & cake. Food included with Culinary Cooks Party Theme.

Use of the Facility for 2 Hours during Normal Operating Hours
