Shasta YMCA Activities
For Youth Development. For Healthy Living. For Social Responsibility.

During YMCA Camp Horizon, a week-long overnight camp for youth in foster care, one girl stood out as being particularly shy. But during cabin time she shared that her dream was to perform in front of big crowds. Her counselor encouraged her to take small risks throughout the week.

At the end of the week the camper came bursting into her cabin, shouting "I did it! I sang in front of the WHOLE camp! I'm not afraid anymore - I found my voice!"

Help children take risks, learn new skills, and find their voice at YMCA summer camps.

Give today to send a kid to camp.
