Have You Filled A Bucket?

That was the theme of this year’s Celebration of Assets. The Assets in Action Partnership of Shasta County recognized Asset Champions at their award ceremony on May 4. The Partnership honored individuals who contribute to the development of the children and youth of Shasta County, with the emphasis on Shasta County Priority Assets.

Our very own Linda Delles, Director of Family and Youth Development is always filling a bucket. She was presented with the “High Expectations” award for 2012.

Read to Me Book Club

Teach your child to dream and inspire them to learn with help from our book club. Our early literacy program (part of Raising A Reader) encourages the love of books and prepares children for kindergarten. This special time together includes themed story time, creative art activities and a weekly book bag exchange to bring the reading magic home. Funding for books provided by the McConnell Foundation.
