When Kathleen was diagnosed with osteoporosis she wondered what she could do to supplement the advised medical treatment. She mentioned her diagnosis to her yoga instructor, Lara, who suggested she add strength training to her exercise routine. Kathleen's health made a change for the positive and her prognosis improved.
"I had never done any strength training exercises in 61 years of life. I reversed my Osteoporosis in one year. Doctors credit this to strength/resistance training. I will continue to attend a strength training class (at the Y) as long as I am alive." - Kathleen
