YMCA camps offer youth a chance to explore activities and ideas in a creative, engaging, and safe environment.  Youth have opportunities to discover new talents, new interests and new friends.  Parents have trusted YMCA camps for generations because we offer experiences that help foster leadership, self-confidence, and respect for the communities we live in.  We offer a variety of camp locations, options and formats, so no matter what your situation, there is a place for your youth at a Y camp.

The Y partners with the Redding School District to provide care for RDS students during school year holidays.

At the Shasta Family YMCA Camp McCumber Resident Camp youth have the opportunity to explore nature, discover their talents, try new interests, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. Campers choose and participate in daily activities, including canoeing, fishing, archery, arts & crafts, hiking, campfires, and sports activities.
