Water safety is a vital topic, especially in the north state where we are surrounded by water. Nobody is too young, or old, to learn safe water practices. The Shasta Family YMCA is proud to partner with First 5 Shasta to offer a FREE water safety day. Geared towards ages 0 - 5 years, this event will include swim assessments, diverse ability swim lessons, a lifejacket raffle, Sharks Swimming apparel, and swim lesson vouchers! By being informed and staying vigilant, you can help create a safe and enjoyable environment for your young ones to learn and have fun around water. All community members are welcome.
